Equity in Education Institute

The Equity in Education Institute (EEI) is a 2-3 day multi-track institute to help new and existing educational practitioners, school administrators, and district leaders build their cultural competence and rethink school models for students of color and those living in poverty.  This institute will retrain systems leaders and educational practitioners to address complexities in urban education in the areas organizational culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion, student learning, leadership, and change management.  Upon completion of the institute, Fellows will have developed an actionable project, rooted in their learning, ready for implementation in their current educational settings.

In addition to this experience, past and present EEI Fellows will convene quarterly to learn best practices from national industry leaders and international school systems, and will examine current levels of performance at their home schools and districts.  Not only will participants gain additional knowledge and skills to improve their practice, but they will be provided with the necessary tools for transformational leadership and equity in education.
